The troughs on both coasts are easy to pick out with the dry Canadian air that briefly plunged southward. Peep the browns making it into the Ohio Valley and sub-1 inch PWAT into the Gulf Coast. That’s amazing for mid-August.
The West Coast including California gets a dose of Fall with a powerful series of troughs that dig across the entire state. The pattern remains busy with the storm track across southern Canada lining up storm systems.
