Extreme Fire Danger across the Pacific Northwest into the Northern Rockies with multiple wildfires exploding including near Spokane, Washington. Bone dry conditions (no rain in a month) + gusty winds > 40 mph = red flag (Particularly Dangerous Situation). Winds will die down into the overnight hours, so hopefully progress is made to protect as many homes as possible.
