Super Typhon Bavi remains near Category 5 with a massive wind field — Tropical Storm force extending over 10 degrees of longitude and hurricane force upwards of 400 nm across. The large size of Bavi has capped its intensity to 130-140 knots with the eye sometime ragged. Over the next 2-days, we can expect some fluctuations with intensity with a slight weakening trend.
