Grim forecast shaping up for Hurricane Melissa — now in the midst of “rapid intensification” to possibly/likely Category 5.

Satellite imagery this evening shows -80°C to -90°C cloud tops wrapping around the inner-core and eyewall. We did not see an eye in the visible imagery today prior to the sun setting.
