Invest 91L in central MDR has sputtered mightily today and NHC reduced the chance of 7-day development to 60% chance of development due to environmental dry air.
Hurricane Kiko at Category 4 has a “large eye” and looks impressive on satellite. The storm will move just northeast of the Hawaii Island chain by early next week.
