Still no sign of tropical storm activity in the Atlantic

Not much has changed on the IR satellite imagery. Very little shower or storm activity across the entire basin. There is a tropical wave that emerged off Africa but any development would be 8-10 days away once it reaches the Caribbean.
The dust clouds continue to travel across the tropical Atlantic with multiple strong plumes expected in the next 10-days. I think the vigorous / robust tropical waves over Africa are kicking up the dust that makes the tropical Atlantic inhospitable.
