Widespread severe storms with some gusty winds and even hail are sagging southward across the Southeast from Arkansas to the Carolinas. Atlanta was slammed earlier Sunday afternoon with severe cells which have moved nearly into North Florida by 10 PM ET.
These storms had plenty of precipitable water or “juice” and dumped a lot of rain very quickly especially in New England.
