No surprise to see the forecast snowfall shift east now into PA, western NY, and Canada as the frontal system with plenty of moisture finally snows out in the colder air behind a rather flat low pressure system. The upper-level trough does not phase well with the surface low missing out on potential for a major blizzard.
The main impacts will be heavy rainfall and gusty winds along the immediate East Coast. Nailing down the severity and timing of the extreme winds will be a challenge over the next day.
