The major weather maker for the week is an area of low pressure developing in over Oklahoma today and tracking into the Ohio Valley on Tuesday and then offshore New England on Wednesday. The low pressure is not rapidly developing or a “bomb cyclone” as some weather model forecasts showed a few days ago (GFS).
Severe weather is a major threat later tonight in Louisiana to Mississippi. Then, heavy rain extends along a cold front from the Ohio Valley into the Southeast over the next 2-days. Accumulations of 2-inches or more will fall across a large area of real estate especially for late-November.
