Temperatures are slowly but surely moderating across the eastern 2/3 of the Lower 48 with 10-12°F below normal anomalies being winnowed away in the Southeast and East Coast. Florida cooled down into the 70s. Denver put the snowfall in the rear view mirror and is in the upper-60s. The warmest weather is in California and Arizona with widespread 70s and 80s. November before the winter rains in the Bay Area and Monterey [my home for 4-years] is absolutely perfect. You get rid of the pesky marine layer with offshore flow and warm up nicely. The summers are damp, foggy and way too cool.
Friday high temperatures: North Dakota is struggling to reach freezing as the effects of the polar vortex entrenched over Hudson Bay seem to be filtering into the upper-Midwest, and remaining cool into the weekend. The map is mostly yellow or 60°F+
