Quite the early Fall \u201cheat wave\u201d across 1/2 of the nation.  Cooler air arrives by Friday and this weekend with highs in the 40s and 50s.</p><p>3-day precipitation forecast from NWS WFOs:   Cold front \u2014&gt; plenty of rain (2-4\u201d) centered upon NE Texas including Dallas-Fort Worth.
